Since a k-pop contract typically lasts seven years, groups making their debuts in 2016 will have their contracts renewed the next year


Popular K-pop girl group Blackpink consisting of Jennie, Rose, Lisa and Jisoo contract with YG entertainment is soon to get over in 2023, the group is yet to announce about their renewal.


While the official confirmation of the 6 member group’s renewal is yet to be announced, fans suspect that Cha Eun Woo might leave the group to focus on acting career.


The two NCT sub-units that made their debuts in 2016—NCT 127 and NCT DREAM—are expected to renew their contracts in 2023.


The 6 member girl group were definitely facing some setbacks after the departure of two of the members, Momoland’s contract will expire in November 2023


Given that this year marks VICTON's sixth year of promotions, the contract must also be renewed.


Pentagon is another k-pop group whose contract renewal is drawing interest. Fans are hopeful even though it is unclear if the entire group will sign.


According to reports, the contract for WJSN, also known as Cosmic Girls, will end in February 2023.


SF9 is approaching its seventh year of promotions as well. It would be interesting to see whether the group chooses a renewal or gets disbanded.
