She takes her king-sized breakfast an hour before her gym and the meal includes whole-wheat bread with two egg white omelets and a fruit.

Simple, wholesome home-cooked food such as roti, sabzi, and dal. She prefers bajra, jowar, nachni, soya, chana, or rajgira roti topped with white butter.

Evening Snacks
Snacking is very important to keep a balanced diet. Around 4-4.30pm, she eats half a papaya or an apple/pear/guava. After an hour or so she has a cup of green tea with a few almonds or walnuts.

Light Dinner
Keeping her dinner light, depending on mood she’ll take grilled chicken or vegetarian diet grilled or slightly pan cooked paneer/tofu, stir fried or steamed vegetables.

Cheat Days
However Bhumi too has her cheat meal every five days to full fill her cravings for sweet sugar desserts.

Sugar is a big No No
Quitting or reducing her consumption of refined sugar was one of the best decisions. Refined sugar, whether brown or white, is nothing more than flavour and empty calories.

Healthy Sugar Alternatives
Raw honey aids digestion and is high in zinc, potassium, calcium, and vitamin B6. You can also take jaggery which is another healthy alternative.

Staying Hydrated
Bhumi Pednekar also drinks 7 litres of water per day. In addition she also prefers detox water to cleanse and detoxify her body. Lemon, cucumber and fruits make tasty and healthy detox water.

Workout
At the gym, Bhumi alternates between cardio and weight training. Cardio at least three times per week will help you burn calories and lose fat.
