Ukraine Invasion: Companies Which Stopped Operations in Russia

APPLE INC.

Apple has paused selling its products (both offline and online) in Russia.

McDDONALD'S

There are around 847 outlets of McDonald's in Russia. They decided to temporarily close all their Mc Donald’s restaurants in Russia and pause all operations.

MERCEDES BENZ

Mercedes-Benz said it was suspending vehicle exports to Russia and local production in the country, responding to Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.

MICROSOFT

Microsoft Corporation announced that it would stop sales of its new products in Russia as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues.

NETFLIX

Netflix said it was pulling out in protest at the invasion.

NIKE

The sneaker giant temporarily suspended operations at its roughly 116 Russian stores while also committing to paying employee salaries. The online sales have already been stopped.

SAMSUNG

Samsung Electronics has suspended shipments of all products to Russia “due to the current geopolitical developments,” the company said.

SNAPCHAT

Snapchat has temporarily shut down its heat map of public Snaps in Ukraine "as a safety precaution."

TIK TOK

TikTok said it had suspended live streaming and new content from its platform as it assesses tough new laws to crack down on "fake news" about Russia's armed forces.
