Australia

More than 2,500 people gather at Wyndham in Melbourne to attend the Durga Puja organized by IndClub, a non-profit organization comprised chiefly of Indian families living in western suburbs.

Belgium

In Belgium, the Durga Puja celebrations began in 2006 with the efforts of Sarbajanin Puja Samity, Brussels. The “Durga Murti” is specially made in Kumortali and flown to Brussels for this occasion.

Colombia

Bogota's Puja Celebration is the celebration going on for eight years This two-day festival is usually held a few days after the puja in Bengal and is rarely seen in pujas abroad.

Malaysia

Durga Puja is believed to have been first celebrated in Malaysia in 1925 thanks to the Bengalis. In 1952 the Malay Bengalee Association was registered and has been organizing Puja in this country.

This year marks the 24th time Durga Puja is celebrated in Finland. Helsinki Puja was organized as an impromptu puja by foreign Bengalis in 1999 but has steadily increased in the past decade.
