One has to complete any of these to become teacher- Bachelor of Education (B.ed). Diploma in Education (D.ed), Physical Education Program (C.P.Ed.), Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.)

CTET – Central Teacher Eligibility Test

The CTET is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) every year. It is a mandatory exam for those who wish to become teachers in schools that are affiliated with the CBSE.

CSIR UGC NET

CSIR UGC NET is conducted by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). It is mandatory for those who wish to teach at the collegiate level.

NET – National Eligibility Test

NET is conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is mandatory for those who wish to teach at the collegiate level.

TET

TET is conducted by both state and central governments in order to recruit teachers for government schools. It is mandatory for those who wish to become teachers.

KVS Exam

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan: KVS Exam is conducted by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) every year. It is mandatory for those who wish to become teachers in KVS schools.
