PV Sindhu, the reigning world badminton champion, won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. She is the only woman from India to have won two Olympic medals.

Balanced Diet

She strives to strike the proper balance of carbohydrates and proteins in order to maintain peak energy and endurance. In fact, food quantity is measured and monitored.


Tracking Vitals

Sindhu also gets a blood test every two months to monitor her vitals and adjust her diet accordingly.

On her Plate

Breakfast- Proteins including milk and eggs. Lunch- Lunch and dinner usually consist of vegetables and grilled chicken. Fruits and dry fruits and an energy drink to keep her fresh.

She abstains completely from junk food and sweets, so ice cream and chocolates are out!

Workout Training

Sindhu's workouts are also scheduled a month in advance, with emphasis on her back, abdomen, shoulders, and knees.

She begins with stretching and concludes the pre-workout with a run, which prepares her for intense sessions. Cardio is her favourite type of workout.

Workout Hours

With Cardio she also include high-endurance workouts, sit-ups (200), push-ups (100), yoga, and swimming. Her training session usually begins at 7 a.m. m. and will last until 12 p.m.
