On Thursday queen Elizabeth II died at the age of 96 in Balmoral Castle, Scotland, after ruling Britain for 70 years.
Operation Unicorn Started after her death
A plan known as ‘Operation Unicorn’ had particular provisions in case the queen passed away while visiting Scotland.
Operation ‘London Bridge’
If the Queen passed away in London, Buckingham Palace apparently had a plan in place for her funeral, code-named 'London Bridge'.
Scotland's national animal
The start of Operation Unicorn has been made. In the event that the queen passed away in Scotland, the palace opted to name the endeavour after the country's national animal.
UK currency notes and coins to be changed
Over the years, Charles' image will eventually replace those of the Queen on all current UK currency notes and coins.
National anthem to be amended
The national anthem of the United Kingdom will also be amended to incorporate the next in line to the British throne.
Flag half masted
Politicians are getting ready for a state funeral and have already lowered the national flag at Downing Street to half staff.
