The long-awaited Honda City Facelift sedan has finally gone on sale. The Honda City facelift car now comes in four varieties, including the SV, V, VX, and ZX, and has two gearboxes. Together with the introduction of the new vehicle, the firm also revealed that Honda will release a brand-new vehicle for the Indian market each year. Let’s take a look at its specifications.
A 1.5-liter, four-cylinder NA gasoline engine and a 1.5-liter gasoline engine coupled with a hybrid motor are available as powertrain options for the new Honda City. The former is equipped with either a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT and is capable of producing 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. In contrast, the petrol engine in the hybrid version produces 97 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque, while the hybrid motor provides 107 horsepower and 253 pound-feet of torque. Only an e-CVT unit is compatible with this setup. Both engines now meet the RDE and BS6 Phase 2 standards.
Internally, the Honda Sensing suite (ADAS), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless charging, an air purifier, a new interior theme, ambient lighting, and rain-sensing wipers are just a few of the amenities available on the MY23 City. Furthermore available are an electric sunroof, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a seven-inch coloured MID.
When it comes to pricing, the Honda City Facelift has a beginning price of Rs. 11.49 lakh and a top variant price of Rs. 15.97 lakh.
