A devotee from Hyderabad Donated 4KG Gold to Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir

Parthasarth Reddy, a resident of Hyderabad, donated 4 kg of gold in Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir, the cost of which is being told about Rs 2 crore. Bhagyashree Banayat, chief executive officer (CEO) of the temple trust, said that devotee Parthasarathy Reddy wanted to donate a band of gold to the throne of Saibaba's idol in 2016, but the required process could not be completed then.

Trying to donate since 2016

It is being said that Parthasarathy Reddy was trying to donate Jhalla to Sai Baba's temple since 2016, but then the process of donating it could not be completed. That's why he was not able to donate at that time. After this the Corona period had started, in which he also tried that the process of donation should be completed. But this time also it did not happen and they had to wait. Finally, today Parthasarathy Reddy's wish was fulfilled and he was able to donate to Jhalla in the temple.

The idol of Sai Baba was installed on a throne made of 110 kg gold in the year 2008. The gold was donated by Adinarayana Reddy, a Sai devotee from Andhra Pradesh. The idol of Sai Baba was placed on the golden throne but the fourth part of the idol was left covered with gold. 

Other donations made to the temple

Sai Sansthan has come to be known as the second richest temple in the country after Tirupati Balaji. 2500 crore rupees, more than 500 kg of gold and a large amount of silver are deposited in Sai Baba Sansthan. The Sai Sansthan continues to receive donations in the form of items including donations from the donation box.

Earlier, Sai devotee KV Ramani had donated Rs 100 crore to Sai Baba Sansthan. If R. Reddy has donated a golden throne. Since then Partha Reddy is the third South Indian Sai devotee to make such a big donation.
