Bengaluru is currently hosting the 14th annual India Air Show. PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the show. In the previous 8 to 9 years, India's military industry has been revitalized, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on this occasion. We simply see this as the beginning. By 2024–2025, we want to increase defense exports to $5 billion. India will now move quickly to join the nations that produce defense.
Talking about Aero India PM Modi said “Aero India is an example of India's growing capabilities. The presence of about 100 countries here shows that the world's trust has increased in India. More than 700 exhibitors from India and the world are participating. It has broken all previous records." PM Modi said “Aero India shows the vision of 'New India'. Today, it is not just a show but also the strength of India. It focuses on the scope of India's defense industry and self-confidence.”

“The Runway to a Billion Opportunities” is the theme of Aero India's 14th edition. Its goal is to highlight India's expanding aerospace and defense capabilities in order to support the development of a powerful and independent "New India." In keeping with the government's goal of "Make in India, Make for the World," the expo will place a strong emphasis on promoting domestic products and innovations while also collaborating with international businesses.
