Agneepath Scheme: The Delhi High Court dismissed the petitioners' arguments on Monday in opposition to the Agneepath initiative of the federal government. A petition opposing the national government's proposal was denied relief by a court panel made up of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and amicus curiae Subramaniam Prasad.

The court further said that the Agneepath scheme was made and brought to actions for the national interest and to boost the armed forces alongside making sure that they are well equipped. Five of the 23 petitions in total have criticised the Agnipath scheme. The remaining 18 petitions requested appointment in accordance with the prior recruitment plan.
