Agnipath Protest: 35 trains canceled between arson, Railway released helpline number

The new recruitment scheme of the Indian Railway is not taking the name of stopping the ruckus standing over Agnipath. Demonstrations are going on in many parts of the country including UP, Bihar in protest. It is also having a bad effect on the railway and incidents of arson and sabotage in trains have come to light. Due to this, 35 trains have been cancelled, while 200 other trains are running a delay of several hours from their time. Apart from this, 13 have been short terminated.

Trains cancelled and behind schedule

According to railway officials, at present, it will be difficult to assess the damage caused by this ruckus. In Samastipur and Lakhisarai of Bihar, protesters set the train on fire on Friday morning. Eklavya Chakraborty, CPRO, East Central Railway said that 8 train services were affected due to the ongoing students' agitation at different stations in our jurisdiction.
