Many states in the country are opposed to the Agneepath scheme. Meanwhile, it has been announced that Agniveers will be given 10% reservation for recruitment in the Ministry of Defence, CAPFs, and Assam Rifles under this scheme. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense has stated that after military service, priority will be given to jobs in government departments. Furthermore, if they want to do business, loans will be provided at a lower interest rate.

Previously, the ministry raised the age limit for Agnives to be recruited in both forces by three years. At the same time, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced that the upper age limit for the first batch of Agniveer will be relaxed by 5 years. It is worth noting that the Center recently announced the Agneepath scheme for contract recruitment of jawans in the Armed Forces for a limited time. This plan has sparked widespread opposition across the country.
