Air Pollution: Air quality deteriorates as pollution increases, Check the states having poisonous air

The pollution level in many states of the country is rising continuously. Since the last four days, air in Delhi has become poisonous. The air quality has declined terribly. On Tuesday Morning, the air quality of Delhi was registered very poor and AQI in Delhi was recorded 372. 

In Uttar Pradesh’s Noida, Air quality Index is in extremely serious category today also. AQI in Noida was recorded 512 today. 

AQI between 0-50 is considered healthy and good, 51-100 is considered satisfactory, 101-200 is considered medium, 201-300 is considered poor, 301-400 is considered very poor, 401-500 is considered serious. 

North Indian states including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh are facing increase in air pollution. Due to rise in wind speed, the pollution level has decreased a bit and the air quality has changed from serious to very poor. 

Due to burning of crackers on Diwali and burning of straw in farms, Air Quality in Delhi was registered serious. In many areas of Delhi, air quality was recorded very poor on Tuesday Morning. 

Central Pollution Control Board on Monday analyzed and reviewed the Air Quality in Delhi NCR and said that in next 5 days, the contribution of straw burning in Air Pollution will increase and AQI will be recorded between very poor and serious category. The board has asked the states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and the capital of Delhi to sprinkle water on roads. 

According to the experts, due to increase in wind speed, the pollution level has reduced a bit but the conditions are still not favourable for people to step out of their houses.
