Schools Closed Update: The air has become poisonous in Delhi-NCR. It is also becoming difficult for people to breathe in the air here. Due to which GRAP-4 has been implemented. People and children suffering from serious diseases are being advised not to step out of their homes. In this sequence, schools from class 1st to 8th in Gautam Budh Nagar district have been closed till November 8. During this study will be online. If needed, classes from 9th to 12th will also run online. The administration has banned outdoor activities in schools till further orders.

Apart from this, the Delhi government has also implemented some provisions of GRAP-4. It is likely that the Delhi government will also take a decision to close schools and colleges. The state government may consider emergency measures like closure of schools-colleges, non-emergency business activities and plying of vehicles on odd-even basis.

What is GRAP-4?

GRAP-4 basically shows the air quality in Delhi-NCR areas. GRAP-4 has the worst quality. The stages are: GRAP-1 poor (AQI 2021-300), GRAP-2 very poor (AQI 301-400), GRAP-3 severe (AQI 401-450), GRAP-4 very severe (AQI above 450) )
