Aligarh Gas Leak: More than 100 people in the meat factory are in the grip of poisonous gas, big updates till now

The police have registered a case against 7 people, including the factory owner, in the ammonia gas leak case at Aldua Meat Factory in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. 6 named people have been arrested. The factory owner is still out of the custody of the police. 

What is the matter?

The matter is of Aldua Meat Factory located in Talaspur of Rorawar police station area. On Thursday morning, there was a sudden leak of ammonia gas in the factory, due to which one after the other women workers went unconscious. The condition of 59 women deteriorated. The factory administration admitted everyone to JN Medical College for treatment without informing the police administration. The doctors told the condition of all the women to be stable. After this the officials reached the factory and took stock of the spot.

DM and SSP reached the spot 

of the incident, fire brigade personnel reached the spot and are engaged in relief work. It is also being told that the factory owner has tried to hide the incident for a long time. On the information of the incident, apart from District Officer Inder Vikram Singh, SSP Kalanidhi Naithani has also reached the spot. Giving information, District Magistrate Inder Vikram Singh said that there was a leakage of ammonia gas in Al Dua Meat Factory, due to which many people have fainted.

About 47 people have been admitted to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College. All the doctors have been instructed by the district officer to treat them. What is the reason behind the incident, all these aspects are being investigated. Appropriate action will be taken after investigation.
