Ankita Murder Case: Uttarakhand govt. Takes action in Ankita Bhandari murder case, 5 Resort Seal

Ankita Murder Case: The state government in Uttarakhand on Saturday closed 5 resorts in the Nainital district amid the uproar over the death of Ankita Bhandari. District Magistrates (DM) were asked to look into the tourist destination of Uttarakhand by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. following which this decision was made. 

Ankita Bhandari murder case update

In reference to the Ankita murder case, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has ordered the District Magistrates to investigate all the resorts in Uttarakhand. According to reports, all illegal resorts in the state could face an investigation. Five resorts in the Nainital district have already been sealed. The Chief Minister has ordered an investigation into each resort in the state on Friday night.

These resorts are sealed down in Uttarakhand

The CM had instructed personnel at hotels, resorts, guest homes, etc. dotted throughout the state to gather information regarding the situation. Overall, five resorts were sealed today. These include Admiral's Villa Dhanachuli, Whistling Woods, Forest Acres Camp Chaukuta, and Aryam Resort Dhanachuli. Five of the resorts and homestays that the district administration reviewed were found to be in violation of the regulations.

BJP fires accused relatives from the party

The Bharatiya Janata Party has expelled Pulkit Arya's father Vinod and brother Ankit from the party. Ankit Arya has also resigned from his role as the nominated vice-chairman of the Uttarakhand Other Backward Classes Commission.
