Another summons to Nupur Sharma, police may act on Prophet Controversy

Former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma's troubles are increasing. Yesterday Thane's Bhiwandi city police issued summons to her as well as called her for interrogation, But Nupur Sharma has asked Thane Police for 4 weeks to appear before the investigating officer. 

Kolkata Police also summoned Nupur Sharma

Kolkata Police has also issued notice to Nupur Sharma in connection with the controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammad. According to the information received, the police have called Nupur Sharma for questioning on June 20.

BJP spokesperson, has sought time on Monday to appear before the Bhiwandi police in connection with the remarks case. In fact, on June 13, the police had summoned him to record Nupur's statement. The police officer said that Nupur Sharma has been given further time. A case has also been registered against former BJP office-bearer Naveen Kumar Jindal.

Many countries expressed anger towards Nupur Sharma

Many Muslim countries of the world have expressed their opposition to Nupur's alleged controversial remarks. About 15 countries are included in this list. These include Qatar, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Maldives, Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Sources said that on the controversial statement given by Nupur Sharma, Mumbai Police can take the strictest action against Nupur Sharma in the next 15 days. On Saturday, Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey had a meeting with the people of the Muslim community of Mumbai.

According to the police, the names of Nupur Sharma, Naveen Kumar Jindal, Shadab Chauhan, Saba Naqvi, Maulana Mufti Nadeem, Abdur Rehman, Gulzar Ansari, Anil Kumar Meena and Pooja Shakun are included in the FIR. Delhi Police says it has provided security to suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma because she was receiving death threats.
