Aryan Khan Bail: Aryan will have to follow some conditions applied by Bombay High Court while granting bail, Read the full news here

After wait of 25 days, Aryan Khan could be released today as Bombay High Court granted bail to him along with Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha. Famous lawyer Mukul Rohtagi represented Aryan Khan in Bombay High Court while NCB’s lawyers argued in favour of rejecting the bail plea. After listening to both the sides, Bombay High Court finally granted bail to Aryan Khan and his other friends.

Condition of Bail

But High court has also applied some conditions before granting bail. The court has asked Aryan Khan not to contact any other accused in the case and will not try to influence the working of special court in the case. Also, Aryan Khan has been asked to deposit his passport in the special court and he will not be speaking to media. Aryan will not be leaving te country without taking permission from the court. The court has also asked him to take permission before leaving Greater Mumbai as well. And the court has also said that if Aryan will not follow the instructions and conditions, his bail can be rejected and taken back. 

NCB's allegations on Aryan Khan

The court’s decision to grant bail to Aryan Khan is being seen as a shock for NCB as ASD Anil Singh had argued in favour of rejection of bail plea. Lawyer Anil Singh, in his statement has said to court that Aryan Khan has been taking drugs since long time and he didn’t consume it for the first time on the day when raid was conducted on the cruise ship. NCB also accused Aryan of being involved in arranging drugs. On being asked by the court that what was the basis of such allegations, NCB lawyer replied that these things have been revealed through Aryan’s whatsapp chat.

Responding to this, Mukul Rohtagi said that the NCB must provide substantial proof against Aryan Khan.He also maintained that Aryan was not aware that his friend was carrying drugs with him. 

Mumbai Drug Bust Case

On October 2,2021 Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Munmun Dhamecha were arrested by NCB from Cruise Ship. A raid, headed by NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede was carried out on Cruise ship and drugs were recovered. Three of them were arrested under same charges. NCB arrested total 20 people in the case out of which 2 were granted bail earlier and now Aryan Khan has also been granted bail. According to reports, Aryan can be released from jail today and hence, he will be able to celebrate Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday and Diwali at Mannat.
