Asaduddin Owaisi furious over Agnipath Recruitment Scheme, advices PM Modi

Agnipath Recruitment Scheme:  The AIMIM's leader, Asaduddin Owaisi, has slammed the Modi government's new Agnipath Scheme for Army recruitment. Owaii has said that the Modi government is to blame for the violence that has erupted across the country. Owaisi released a video of Haryana police firing into the air during a protest and tweeted advicing PM Modi.

“It was a terrible judgment that was not in the country's best interests. Today, the country's Prime Minister regards them as contract employees; members of the country's Army, Navy, and Airforce serve in honourable positions that require them to kill or sacrifice their lives, and you are treating them in this manner. What does it mean to be four years old, and why is it four” Lashed Owaisi on PM Modi.  He went on to say that the government does not provide any gratuities or pensions, that there are over 1 lakh vacancies in the army, and that China and Pakistan are always causing issues amid such situations such kind of steps like Agnipath is jeopardizing Nation’s security.

 ‘It is the government to be blamed for such protests going on in the country and thereby they should reverse the scheme as soon as possible.’ He added further.

Owaisi Tweets opposing Agnipath Scheme

Earlier on June 16 Owaisi tweeted “Agneepath scheme will not reduce unemployment but will increase it. The issue of terror with Pakistan is not resolved yet, and on the other hand China has occupied our land. Our army is not a laboratory of your 'scheme' and 'brain wave'.”
