Atiq Ahmed: CM Yogi asks officials to provide updates on the murder case every two hours

On the evening of April 15, mafia don Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were murdered. Following the murder, Uttar Pradesh as a whole is in an uproar. All of UP’s districts have put Section 144 into effect. For a while, internet access has been suspended. At the same time, CM Yogi is closely monitoring the situation. In the murder case, CM Yogi demanded a report every two hours. The officers have received directives.

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Lucknow, has modified all of his plans. Additionally, no one is allowed to move around the Chief Minister's house, which is located at 5 Kalidas Marg. The officers in the murder case have been told by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to remain watchful out there and to report every two hours. He has stated that the state should be kept in a state of peace and order. The entire population of the state is participating in this. Remember that there are no issues that the general population has. No one should “play with the law,” he stated.

The public has been urged by CM Yogi not to believe any rumors. Those who disseminate rumors will face harsh punishment. Following the assassination, the Chief Minister was also met by the DGP of the UP Police, RK Vishwakarma, and the ADG (Law and Order), Prashant Kumar.
