Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Ambala echoed with Vande Mataram, Anil Vij himself joined the yatra carrying the tricolor

As part of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, a tricolor yatra was organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party in Ambala Cantonment on Thursday, in which Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij appeared in the colors of patriotism and held the tricolor in his hand during the entire journey. In the Shavij Yatra, slogans of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' and 'Vande Mataram' were also communicated with enthusiasm. 

Apart from thousands of BJP workers, the general public also participated enthusiastically in the yatra that started from PWD Rest House in Ambala Cantonment. The whole city became tricolor during the journey. People welcomed the journey from place to place by placing the tricolor at homes, shops and other establishments, with flowers and colorful fireworks.

Anil Vij’s comment

Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij said that "It seems today that the whole atmosphere has become tricolor in the country and people are also wearing tricolor from house to house under the tricolor". Vij also replied to those who raised the question of selling the tricolor and said that "the opposition which is not selling the tricolor to the government should also participate in this freedom festival". Vij was interacting with media persons during the tricolor yatra in Ambala here today. 

Further plans

13th August, Prabhat Pheris will be taken out in every ward by singing songs of patriotism. Not only this, a silent procession will be taken out on August 14 to show the horrors of Partition. Home Minister Anil Vij said that the tricolor will be hoisted at 1 lakh houses in Ambala Cantt on Independence Day. He said that on August 14, there was a big wound of partition in our country, in which about 10 lakh people were martyred and a silent procession will be taken out for the partition.
