Uttarkashi District Magistrate Abhishek Ruhela inspected the Yatra of Yamunatri Dham. The District Magistrate saw the arrangement of cleanliness on the travel route including horse-mule operation, condition of the narrow road. The District Magistrate directed the Additional Chief Officer of the District Panchayat to implement the token system at an interval of three days for the operation of horse and mules on the Yamunotri footpath.
Uttarakhand Congress State President Karan Mahra and Regional MLA Rajendra Bhandari visited Badrinath Dham at the opening of its doors.
This time a large number of devotees and tourists are expected to visit Chardham Yatra. The crowd gathered on the occasion of the opening of the doors of Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham testifies to this. In view of this, special attention has been given to ensure that the passengers do not face any kind of trouble on the travel routes. Arrangements are being made at a fast pace so that drinking water can be easily available to the passengers when they rise. The government has entrusted this responsibility to Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan.
