The search for people who drowned in Yamuna river began around 7:30 am on Friday. The NDRF team from Lucknow took two votes into the water, which went from the sinking site to the other side of the shore towards Fatehpur. After nearly 20 hours after the boat accident, the crowd became agitated as there was no search for the people who were drowned in the river. At around 11.30, people got involved in the commotion after the administration was accused of negligence. Meanwhile, ADM Umakant Tripathi, who arrived with the police force, tried to convince the people. There was anger among people that the search was called off citing rain late in the night and votes were cast in the river at around 7:30 am. The men in search come back only after circling the river. Here, a crowd of hundreds of people on the shore kept expressing their displeasure about the fact that people were crying in search of their loved ones and the high officials did not reach the spot.
