Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina arrived in Jaipur with an 80-member contingent to offer prayers at the dargah of Khwaja Gareeb Nawaz Moiuddin Hasan Chishti in Ajmer. PM Sheikh Hasin will present velvet chadar and rose flowers at Khwaja's tomb here.
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has come to India on a four-day visit. Meanwhile, PM Sheikh Hasina reached Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, on Thursday. PM Sheikh Hasina reached Jaipur by special plane on Rajasthan tour. The PM of Bangladesh (Bangladesh) was welcomed with folk dance music in Rajasthani style at Jaipur airport. During this, Sheikh Hasina also danced in Rajasthani style and posed for photos with the artists. His delegation was also present with the Bangladeshi PM. State Education Minister BD Kalla and top officials received PM Sheikh Hasina.
Earlier on Wednesday, Sheikh Hasina said that the relationship between Bangladesh and India is a model of neighbourly diplomacy for the world. Speaking at an event in Delhi to give 'Mujib scholarships' to the descendants of Indian soldiers and officers who died or were seriously injured during Bangladesh's 1971 Liberation War, Hasina said, after forging a strong partnership in 50 years, the two countries are now working on increasing cooperation/partnership in various fields.
Hasina said Bangladesh should not forget that India, its government, its people and armed forces were with it during the liberation struggle. She said, I want our friendship to last for eternity.
