Bank Holiday in August 2021:

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has recently shared the list of Ban Holidays in August 2021. And as per the list, the banks will remain closed for 15 days in different parts of the country,  in the month of August 2021.

Along with the offs on Saturday and Sunday, there are many other festivals and events in the month of August 2021, due to which the banks are scheduled to remain close.

So, the list of Bank Holidays for the month of August 2021 is mentioned below:

1st August - Sunday

8th August - Sunday

13th August - Patriot Tay - Bank closed in Imphal

14th August - Second Saturday of the month

15th August - Sunday/Independence Day

16th August - Parsi New Year (Shahenshahi) - Banks closed in Belapur, Mumbai, and Nagpur

19th August - Muharram (Ashura) - Banks closed in Agartala, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, and Srinagar

20th August - Muharram / First Onam - Banks closed in Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram

21st August - Banks closed in Thiruvonam- Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram

22nd August - Sunday

23rd August - Sree Narayana Guru Jayanti - Banks closed in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram

28th August - Fourth Saturday of the month

29th August - Sunday
