BattleGrounds Mobile Open Championship is about to start where all the teams will battle in order to reach the BMPL Season 1 and battle against the invited teams for the prize pool of INR 2 Crores. With all the new teams playing in BMOC, Krafton has announced BMOC : The Grind for 32 invited teams to battle against each other and practice for BMPL Season 1.

BMCO : The Grind - Format

The Grind will host a total of 32 teams and 3 stages. Here’s the detailed explanation for the format :

  • Qualifiers : 

The 32 invited teams are divided into 4 groups of 8 teams each. The matches will be played in round robin format for 4 days. After the last match the top 24 teams in overall rankings will move to League Stage of The Grind.

  • League Stage :

The 24 teams will now be divided into 3 groups of 8 teams each. All the teams will play matches in round robin format for 4 days and the top 16 teams will move over to the The Grind Finals.

  • The Grind Finals :

The top 16 teams will play a total of 24 matches in 4 days. The team with highest cumulative points at the end of the finals will be crowned the Champions.

BMCO : The Grind - Schedule & Fixtures

The Grind is scheduled from 31st Mar’22 - 17th Apr’22 with qualifiers from 31st Mar - 3rd Apr, League Stage from 7th Apr - 10th Apr and The Grind Finals from 14th Apr - 17th Apr. Each day 6 matches will be played on Erangel, Sanhok and Miramar maps with 3 Erangel, 2 Mirmar and 1 Sanhok match.
