Bharat Jodo Yatra: Congress's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' begins today, a journey of 3500 KM in 150 days

Congress's Bharat Jodo Yatra is going to be held from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, traveling 3500 KM in 150 days and this journey will go to 12 states and 2 union territories. Rahul Gandhi himself will start this five-month padyatra from Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. The journey will be in two phases. These will be the speeches of Rahul Gandhi. Speeches of some leaders have also been kept. Efforts will also be made to know the mind of the party's grassroot worker.

What is India Jodo Yatra?

Bharat Jodo Yatra is being started with the intention of uniting India against BJP. This journey will be from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. During this, this padyatra will pass through 12 states and 2 union territories. It will start from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. In this padyatra, more than 100 leaders will walk with Rahul Gandhi from beginning to end. 

In this, the party's media and publicity chief Pawan Khera and Kanhaiya Kumar are also included. According to the Congress, the Bharat Jodo Yatra is a celebration of India's unity and a festival of hope. All the people of India can participate in this. This padyatra is being started against fear, bigotry, rising unemployment and spreading inequalities in the society.

Priyanka Gandhi’s message

Apart from these, Akshay Krantiveer, Mathura P. Kushwaha, Brijesh Arya, Rambaran Kashyap and KK Shastri will also accompany Rahul Gandhi. In a video message, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi said that this visit is necessary because negative politics is being done in the country and real issues related to the people are not being discussed. The purpose of this yatra is not to take political advantage, but to unite the country.
