Salman Khan-hosted Big Boss season 16 got an unexpected turn when MC Stan was crowned the winner. The rapper took this season’s trophy, Rs 31 lakh and a brand new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
MC Stan competed with Shiv Thakare who came second, with TV star Priyanka Chahar Choudhary bagging the third position. Model turned politician Archana Gautam was fourth and actor Shalin Bhanot, popularly known for his roles in Do Hanson Ka Joda, and many others, was fifth.
Who is MC Stan
MC Stan aka Altaf Shaikh is an underground rapper coming from Pune, who began his singing journey by qawwalis at the age of 12. Soon, he became popular among the youth after his songs Wata and Khuja Mat rose to fame.

The big boss winner has around six million followers on YouTube, with 7.7 million on Instagram. Before he started his Big Boss journey, MC Stan was in the news after he broke up with her girlfriend Auzma Shaikh last year.
MC Stan built friendships with Sajid Khan, Shiv Thakare and Abdu Rozik, among others during his big boss journey. He won the hearts of people with his ‘real and raw’ personality. Even Salman got fascinated by his street-style, and instantly became an eye-catcher when he came on the stage for the season 16 premiere last year.
