Nitish Kumar on Magahi and Bhojpuri matter:
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday, while responding to the statement of Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, said that “what if we parted you, we still love you. Bihar Jharkhand are two brothers, how can they be separated, we still consider them ours.” CM Nitish has responded to Soren's remarks on Magahi and Bhojpuri.
Talking to the media after the Chief Minister's program in the public court in Patna, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren's remarks on Bhojpuri and Magahi said that Jharkhand and Bihar are brothers. In the year 2000, Bihar was divided into two parts. The people of Bihar and Jharkhand love each other. I don't know what people say politically. We love them, even though Jharkhand is separate.
CM Nitish said that these things should never be considered. Bihar and Jharkhand are brothers, two parts of the same family. Bihar and Jharkhand need not comment about each other. They just love each other.
It must be noted that Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren had said in an interview to a media organization that the tribal society fought for a separate state of Jharkhand because of its regional and tribal languages, and not because of Bhojpuri and Hindi. They will not allow the 'Biharisation' of Jharkhand under any circumstances. Those who speak Magahi or Bhojpuri are dominant people, it will not happen.
On this, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that if he wants to take any political advantage of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren by making harsh remarks towards the language of Bihar, then he should keep taking it, we do not believe so. It must be noted that a big controversy arose after the Jharkhand CM's sharp remarks on Bihar's language- Magahi and Bhojpuri.
