Nitish Kumar-led Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar is under constant questioning. After Law Minister Kartikeya Singh, now Agriculture Minister Sudhakar Singh has also come into controversy. Sudhakar Singh is accused of embezzling rice worth crores of rupees in 2013. The scam case was done by the NDA government led by Nitish Kumar. However, Sudhakar Singh has denied all the allegations against him as false.

Charges against Sudhakar Singh

Sudhakar Singh, son of RJD's Bihar Chief Jagdanand Singh, is accused of not returning the rice even after signing an agreement with the state government. In fact, Sudhakar Singh's rice mill had entered into an agreement with the state government for processing rice. After this, he did not return the rice that came from the government. Sudhakar was accused of selling rice sent by the government in the open market and making a big profit from it.

According to an estimate, the state government suffered a loss of about Rs 1,573 crore due to this rice embezzlement scam. However, Sudhakar Singh claimed that these allegations were made during the BJP government. He said that during that time the action that the government had to take has been done.

Sudhakar Singh’s comment on the situation

Sudhakar Singh said that those who are going to make allegations consider themselves above the law. The decision of the High Court should be seen. The allegations keep on making. When a person has come in public life, then there will be allegations against him. The facts behind the allegation should also be seen. He said that there is a saying in the village that the crow took the ear. So shall we look at the ear or the crow? Attacking the BJP, Sudhakar Singh said that the allegation is of his (BJP) regime. I have not done. Government officials and employees have done it.
