Indian-American Shree Saini was crowned Miss World America 2021 on Tuesday. At the event, held at the Miss World America headquarters in Los Angeles, Diana Hayden crowned Shree Saini. Not only she becomes the first Indian-American to be crowned, but also she got listed in the unique pageant winners of all the time. But her road to success was never an easy way, the girl who just at the age of 12 got a permanent pacemaker and survived a car accident which left scars over her face didn’t let anything block her passion and ambition. Shree who hails from Punjab has created a history by winning the renowned Pageant.
Shree, who is currently Miss World America Washington, also holds the title of "MWA National Beauty with a Purpose Ambassador," which she achieved by working relentlessly to aid those who are less fortunate. Her effort has been acknowledged by UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders, Susan G Komen, and many others," according to Miss World America's official Instagram account.
While sharing the news on her official social media handle, shree wrote “Thank you God for blessing me, and allowing me to be of service as Miss World America 2021.I am the first American of Indian origin and first Asian to be crowned Miss World America 🇺🇸 👑With your affectionate support, I invite you all to be part of my service journey.

Born on January 6, 1996, shree hails from Ludhiana, Punjab in India but moved to the United States when she was just 5. She faced much poverty in her early life, and that’s when she understood that everyone should take social responsibility and hold a nature of giving back.Saini's heartbeat was just 20 beats per minute throughout the first 12 years of her life, Doctors warned her she would never be able to dance again, but she persisted and practised for years in order to be able to do so later she also got involved in a car accident. She has written thousands of articles and advocated for heart and mental health.
Saini has completed nondegree summer courses at Harvard, Yale, and Stanford universities. At the University of Washington, she studied journalism. She is a professional ballerina.
