The national spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party, Dr. Sambit Patra, has once again verbally attacked the Congress party and called it unstable’ party, because of the crisis going on in Punjab. In context of the Punjab crisis, the national spokesperson of BJP, Dr. Sambit Patra, while addressing the media called the party ‘unstable’.He criticised Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for their poor decision, which according to them was a key strategical move, but resulted in a rift between Navjot Singh Sidhu and the Chief Minister. He also termed this rift as ‘clash of ambitions’ and alleged that none is thinking about the welfare and ambitions of Punjab and just want their own desires to be fulfilled.Congress- the new Tukde-Tukde Gang?
Rahul Gandhi, in one of his speech in Wayanad, said that for him national boundaries aren’t relevant or important, for him country is synonyms to its residents and he doesn’t believe in national borders. This statement didn’t seem to get along well with Sambit Patra and he while criticising Rahul for his speech and Navjot Singh Sidhu for his visit to Pakistan and warm hug with General Bajwa, called the Congress party, a new ‘Tukde-Tukde’ gang.Congress vs Media
Sambit also accused Congress of trying to hide its own crisis and mistakes by lashing out at Media. Chattisgarh’s chief minister, Bhupesh Baghel in defense of Rahul Gandhi tweeted and advised the fourth pillar of Democracy, i.e. the Media, to not cross the limit while working and that if it does so, he’ll not tolerate it. In context of this tweet, Dr. Patra, accused Congress of just talking about Freedom of Expression and not respecting it in reality.
