Lok Sabha elections are approaching, the political party is coming in full swing. On one hand the Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress is going on, where every day BJP and Congress are attacking each other. Now BJP is preparing to make a dent in Mamta Banerjee's stronghold in West Bengal.

In fact, the Bharatiya Janata Party unit has called for a Naban Chalo campaign against Mamta Banerjee from today. BJP is fully prepared for this. At the same time, the West Bengal government has refused to allow this visit.

What is Nabanna Chalo campaign

BJP is protesting against the corrupt activities of the ruling Trinamool Congress government. It is reported that the police did not allow them to protest. BJP state chief Sukant Majumdar said that the state police is behaving like a TMC cadre. At the same time, he informed that he was not given permission to march till the Secretariat.

During the ongoing protest on Tuesday, the police have taken BJP leader and MLA Shubhendu Adhikari into custody. Apart from this, Rahul Sinha and MP Locket Chatterjee have also been taken into custody. It is reported that these leaders have been taken to Kolkata Police Headquarters located in Lalbazar.

Importance of Nabanna Chalo campaign

There are panchayat elections in West Bengal next year. Before the Panchayat elections, all the political parties are trying to increase their strength. Like the ruling party Trinamool Congress, BJP is also trying to increase its strength, BJP said that Naban will take the flag and stick along in the campaign. He said, “Trinamool has changed the line of the poem. The Trinamool Congress knows nothing but Tola. The District President who does not pay more is transferred. Many party leaders have been caught in bribery. Even after this, the party is not taking the name of improvement.
