UK PM candidate Rishi Sunak is seen performing 'Cow Worship' with his wife Akshata Murthy in London. Sunak recently went to a cowshed with Akshata Murthy. In the video, the couple can be seen standing next to a cow. In the video, Sunak can be seen performing cow aarti along with his wife and daughter of Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy.
During this, the sage was offering holy water to the cow from a brass glass, after which he is taking blessings from the cow while completing the remaining rituals from an earthen lamp given by the priest. Soon the video went viral on social media platforms and remained a topic of discussion among the Hindu community throughout the day.
This is not the first such case. Earlier, recently the former chancellor was seen celebrating Janmashtami in the streets of London. Sunak went to Bhaktivedanta Manor on the outskirts of London to celebrate Krishna Janmashtami. He also shared some pictures here on his official Twitter handle. In the caption accompanying this post, he wrote, 'Today I went to Bhaktivedanta Manor temple to celebrate Janmashtami with my wife Akshata. Janmashtami is the birthday of Lord Krishna which is a popular Hindu festival.
