Some mischievous elements had spread the news of paper leak at the same time when the CBSE Board Class 10 papers were going on. Messages related to this were going viral on social media. Not only this, on some social media groups, there was talk of making even paper available to students and parents. In return, this scam was going on by extorting money from them. The board has taken strict action against them.
CBSE had filed a complaint with Delhi Police Special Cell to take action against such people under IPC and IT Act. He also removed thousands of such links from YouTube which could trap parents and children in the web of misinformation by giving them some kind of wrong information.
