CBSE Result: Acid Attack victim Kafi topped in 10th, lost eyes in childhood

At Chandigarh’s Blind School, 15-year-old Kafi has topped in the 10th grade. Kafi is an acid attack survivor; when she was only three years old, three neighbors in Budhana village in Hisar threw acid on her out of jealousy; as a result, she became blind, and her entire mouth and arms were severely burned. However, Kafi did not give up, and today Kafi’s family members and the entire school are feeling proud of her achievement. Kaffi, who has a 10th-grade GPA of 95.20, wants to work as an IAS officer.

Kafi revealed that on the day of Holi, three people from her neighborhood attacked her with acid out of hatred when she was just three years old. Her eyesight could not be saved by doctors. Kafi claimed that after being initially admitted to the Delhi AIIMS for treatment, her father was informed by the doctor that Kafi would not be able to get her eyes back. Due to the incident, her arms and full face were severely burned. The doctor managed to save Kafi, but not her eyesight.
