CBSE Term-1 Exams:
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to conduct its Term-1 exams through the medium of Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets that will consist of multiple-choice questions. While the answer sheets will also be evaluated on the same day of the exam, for the first time.
It must be noted that a total of 36 lakh Class 10th and 12th students will appear for the CBSE Term-1 exams commencing from 16th November. Students will have to answer 60 questions in 90 minutes.
The students will be required to answer 60 questions in 90 minutes and will have to mark the answers with their pens. And as per the reports of TOI, the students will be provided an additional box in the OMR sheet, which can be used when the students wish to change their answer, and if the students write an answer in that box, only that answer would be taken into consideration.
It must be noted that if the students don’t attempt any question, then they will have to darken the corresponding circle under the ‘#’ column.
Sheets to be evaluated the same day of the exam:
It must be noted that the answer sheets submitted to the CBSE will be evaluated on the same day of the exam, at the exam center itself, before they are uploaded or sent to the regional offices. Followed by this, the scores will be recorded, and the sheets will be sent to the respective regional offices.
