Chandigarh-Manali Highway stopped after a landslide in Himachal Pradesh, Mandi car parking collapsed

Himachal Pradesh landslide:

The heavy rainfall has caused huge destruction in Himachal Pradesh, as it is causing landslides in various regions of the hill station. While the water level of the drains and rivers in Spiti and Lahaul has rise, which has caused a loss of communication at various places. 

The situation of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand is currently dangerous and various tourists and local residents of Himachal are stuck at some places. While the administration and the Himachal Pradesh Government are trying to rescue the people stuck and to send them to safer places.

Due to the landslides, the Chandigarh-Manali Highway has stopped, and a landslide in Sirmaur has caused the operations at the (National Highway) NH 707 to stop. Moreover, a Mandi Car parking shed has collapsed, causing huge damage to various cars parked in the Mandi car parking.

The Himachal Pradesh Flash floods, and heavy rainfall have claimed the lives of many, while various people are still missing. Chief Minister Jairam Thakur will analyze the situation of the affected areas of Himachal Pradesh today through a helicopter, and will also meet the Himachal Pradesh flood victims.
