Chardham Yatra: Number of Daily Visitors Prepared, 15K tourists will visit Badrinath everyday- Watch Video

Char Dham Yatra 2022: For the Chardham Yatra starting from May 3 in Uttarakhand, the number of daily visitors has been fixed in the four Dhams. The government issued orders in this regard on Saturday. Accordingly, this arrangement will be for the first 45 days of the journey. Badrinath Dham will have a maximum of 15000 people and in Yamunotri minimum of 4000 people will be able to see it daily.

In the Chardham Yatra, which was affected for two years due to the Corona crisis, this time due to favourable circumstances, a large number of devotees are expected to come. So far 2.86 lakh people have registered for Chardham Yatra.

Number of visitors fixed for daily

Keeping in view the geographical conditions of the state, the darshan capacity of the devotees in the dhams and the capacity of the temple complexes, the number of visitors per day has been fixed. In order of the decision taken in the meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary last day, Secretary Culture, Endowment, Pilgrimage Management and Religious Fair Hari Chandra Semwal issued orders in this regard on Saturday.

How Many Visitors Will Be Allowed Per Day

Badrinath - 15000

Kedarnath - 12000

Gangotri - 7000

Yamunotri - 4000

Mandatory To Register Online

It is mandatory for the devotees to register online for the Chardham Yatra. Devotees can register online on the website of the Tourism Department https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in/. Along with this, 15 centres are to be opened for offline registration. At present, arrangements have been made for offline registration in Rishikesh, Haridwar, Sonprayag and Pakhi.

Wearing Mask Is Mandatory

The use of masks and sanitisers is mandatory. Compulsory compliance with the Covid protocol issued by the Health Department from time to time will be ensured.

Traffic Will Be Closed For Six Hours At Night

In view of the safety of the life and property of the pilgrims coming to the state during the yatra, vehicular movement will be restricted from 10 pm to 4 am on the yatra routes. This provision has also been made in the order issued by the government.
