Chhattisgarh Borewell Incident: Child trapped in a 50 feet deep borewell, rescue operation going on- Watch Video

Rescue operations are still underway to rescue a 10-year-old boy who fell into a 50 feet deep borewell in a village in Chhattisgarh's Janjgir-Champa district. Meanwhile, even after 43 hours, a child named Rahul Sahu has not given up hope of living and now himself has started helping the rescue team in the rescue operation. Wherein remotely operated borewell 'Rescue Robot' machine from Gujarat has been deployed in the rescue operation. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel himself is constantly monitoring the campaign.

Child Showed Bravery

Rahul, who was trapped in the borewell for two days, showing bravery, is now helping the rescue team by filling himself with buckets of water. Let us tell that due to water seeping from the walls of the borewell, water had collected there, which now Rahul himself is helping to fill the water in the bucket sent from above. The rescue operation may take a few more hours to save Rahul. Meanwhile, bananas and juice have been delivered to the child. Along with this, to motivate the child, he is being made to talk to his family. 

Rescue operation going on for two days

Let us inform that a child named Rahul Sahu had fallen into a 50 feet deep borewell in his house in Pihrid village of Malkharoda block of Chhattisgarh. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams have been deployed to rescue the child. The rescue operation is going on for two days. District Collector and Superintendent of Police are also present on the spot. 

Reason for the accident

According to the information, when the incident happened, Rahul Sahu had gone behind his house to play in the afternoon. But he was so engrossed in playing that he did not notice the open borewell, which caused him to fall into it.
