Akola Violence:On Saturday night, there was a fight between two groups in the Akola area of Maharashtra. The fight started because of a small disagreement and became violent. A video shows that members of both groups were throwing stones at each other, damaging cars and creating chaos on the streets. The police station in the Old City neighborhood was informed, and they took control of the situation. The authorities have said that the situation is now under control.

 

Section 144 implemented 

Neema Arora, the Akola Collector, has declared that Section 144 has been implemented in the city because of clashes between two groups that turned violent. The police stated that the mob involved in the violence damaged some vehicles, and force had to be used by the police to bring the situation under control. ASP Monica Raut stated that both groups threw stones at each other, leading to damage to vehicles. The police used tear gas shells to disperse the rioters and establish peace. The reason for the violence was a post on social media.
