CM Yogi Adityanath on rioters:

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while addressing the inaugural session of the Social Representative Conference organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party Backward Front at Panchayat Bhawan here on Sunday said, BJP believes in nationalist ideology and its basic mantra is wishing for everyone's happiness, everyone's health and that is why Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the mantra of Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas.

Before 2014, the slogan of those who ruled the state was – “Sabka Saath lekin Parivar ka vikas”. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday targeted the previous non-BJP governments, saying that the nature of the previous governments was the riots and they used to promote the rioters by sheltering them.

CM Yogi said that ‘they (opposition) were not concerned about the society and the nation apart from themselves and their families, this was the reason why the state was lagging behind, becoming poor and the state was thrown into the fire of riots. Welcoming the people of Prajapati (Potter) society from all over the state in the social representative conference, the Chief Minister said, when festivals used to come, when faith had to be respected, there used to be the time of business, then curfew was imposed in the state, there were riots because the nature of the previous governments was the riot. They used to take the rioters forward by giving shelter and the people of the state were oppressed by the riots.’

Deepotsav program in Ayodhya:

Referring to the schemes implemented by the BJP government for Prajapati Samaj, Yogi said, "If the program of Deepotsav will be held in Ayodhya, then nine lakh lamps will be lit in Ayodhya and we have decided that only earthen lamps will be lit. On the festival of Diwali, the idol of Lakshmi Ganesh should not come from abroad, but it should be made through Prajapati Samaj and Mati Kala Board.

Targeting the previous governments of the state, CM Yogi Adityanath claimed that the idols made by people were not sold, the lamps made by people were broken and after that, the festival was pushed into the darkness, but you guys saw not a single riot happened in Uttar Pradesh in the last four and a half years. Addressing the conference, State President of Bharatiya Janata Party Swatantra Dev Singh said that it was the thinking of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay that the last person in the line should also get respect, respect, get enough food and get a house to live and he should get prestige in the society.
