Mumbai : CNG (Mumbai CNG Price) has once again become expensive in the country's financial capital Mumbai. Here the gas company Mahanagar Gas Limited has increased the price of CNG by Rs.6 per kg. Along with this, it has been announced to increase the price of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) by Rs 4 per unit with immediate effect. Earlier, on July 13, MGL had increased the prices. At that time CNG was costlier by Rs 4 per kg.

Natural gas is getting expensive

At present, the prices of natural gas are increasing tremendously in the international and domestic market. The company says that due to the rising prices of natural gas, the price of CNG and PAGEN has been increased. Over the past several weeks, suppliers and distributors were forced to cut industrial supplies due to rising prices. This is the sixth increase in prices since April this year.

Prices were increased 20 days ago

Mahanagar Gas Limited had increased the retail prices of CNG by Rs 4 per kg in Mumbai on July 13. Along with this, the price of piped natural gas (PNG) was also increased by Rs 3 per standard cubic meter (per unit). At that time, the price of CNG in Mumbai and its surrounding areas had reached Rs 80 per kg and that of PNG was Rs 48.50.(With Agency Input)
