India has got the fourth medal in the Commonwealth Games 2022. Bindiyarani Devi won the silver medal for India in the 55 kg weightlifting category of women's weightlifting. Bindiyarani scored 86 in snatch, while scored 116 in clean and jerk. That is, he has won the silver medal by scoring a total of 202 kg. Bindiyarani Devi looked elated after winning silver in weightlifting.

Journey of Bindyarani

Bindiyarani Devi of Manipur does her training at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) centre. But when the center was closed due to the Corona pandemic, Bindiyarani trained under the guidance of Anita Chanu, who had been the coach of star weightlifter Mirabai Chanu.Bindiyarani Devi made her international debut at the 2016 World Youth Championship held in Penang, Malaysia and finished 10th. 23-year-old Bindiyarani Devi won the gold medal in the South Asian Games held in the year 2019. In the year 2019, Bindiyarani also won the title of Commonwealth Championship.
