Anand Sharma may join BJP

According to sources, there was discussion about Anand Sharma joining BJP in the meeting. However, Congress Rajya Sabha MP Anand Sharma made a big statement on the news of meeting BJP President JP Nadda. He said that if I want to meet BJP chief JP Nadda, then I have every right to meet him.

Further he said that if I want to meet him, then I will go freely. What's the big deal in this? I belong to Congress. Being ideologically opposed does not mean that there is any personal division between us. We do not make ideological opponents our social enemies. Anand Sharma said that the Alumni Association of Himachal Pradesh University had invited him and Nadda to felicitate him. He said that there was a talk with Nadda over the phone about going to this program.

Anand Sharma, part of the G23 group

While addressing Sonia Gandhi on 23 August 2020, 23 senior Congress leaders said that the leadership uncertainty and the party's ups and downs have weakened the Congress. Along with this, the morale of the workers has dropped. The leaders of the G23 group had insisted on holding elections at all levels, including the Congress Working Committee. Kapil Sibal's name was also included in these 23 leaders who have now left the Congress.
