After this Sonia Gandhi also called Ashok Gehlot. When Ashok Gehlot was in Delhi, then Sachin Pilot was in India Jodo Yatra with Rahul Gandhi.

He also clarified the situation regarding the President and said that no one from the Gandhi family will contest for the post of President. Ashok Gehlot met Sonia Gandhi and left a suspense and went to join Rahul Gandhi's India Jodo Yatra. Ashok Gehlot said that if the people of the party want, he will contest for the post of president. But first he will convince Rahul Gandhi for this post. Together, Gehlot said that the principle of one person, one post does not apply to a person elected to the post of president in the party.
