Congress's black protest over inflation, many leaders in custody

On Friday, the Congress is protesting fiercely against the Center regarding rising inflation and unemployment in the country. Meanwhile, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra sat on a dharna outside the Congress headquarters, after which she was taken into custody. Before this, Rahul Gandhi has also been taken into custody by the police along with many other leaders.

More than 200 MPs detained

It is known that more than 200 Congress leaders have been detained during the mass protest. Over 200 Congress protesters, including 50 MPs from Lutyens' Delhi, were detained on Friday, Delhi Police officials said. The leaders who participated in the demonstration of Congress were wearing black clothes. Congress MPs led by Rahul Gandhi took out a march from Parliament House to Rashtrapati Bhavan. 

However, the police stopped him midway and took him into custody. The Congress had announced a nationwide protest on Friday against inflation and unemployment. Under this, Congress Working Committee (CWC) members and senior party leaders had a plan to 'gherao' the prime minister's residence. Many party leaders and workers had gathered at the Congress headquarters for this. 

Rahul Gandhi attacks on BJP

Rahul Gandhi said that this government is continuously lying. Inflation and unemployment are increasing continuously in the country. The United Nations said that there were close to five lakh deaths in the country due to Corona, while the government says that everything is fine, nothing like this happened. 

Rahul Gandhi further said, 'Congress is not a party but an ideology. Our fight is not with one party but the infrastructure of the country. Rahul alleged that all the democratic institutions of the country have been controlled by the BJP and the RSS. The Congress leader said that when the BJP attacks him, he learns from those attacks.
