Eighteen cases of Omicron's XBB sub-variant have been detected in the state in the first 15 days of October. The Maharashtra Health Department gave this information on Wednesday (October 19).
A variant of Corona The new sub-variant BF.7 of Omicron was first found in the Mongolia Autonomous Region of North West China and due to this variant, cases of corona have increased once again in China. This sub-variant of Omicron is spreading rapidly and its cases are being found so far in many countries including the US, UK, Australia and Belgium. This sub-variant has also been knocked in India. This case of BF.7 was first found in the Biotechnology Research Center in Gujarat. In such a situation, experts have appealed to be careful during the festive season.
Dr. Randeep Guleria, President of CII Public Health Council and former Director of AIIMS, said that new variants of Kovid-19 are being expected which have a tendency to cause mutations. Now the situation is different; earlier there was no vaccination, but people have been vaccinated and developed immunity against the virus.
Symptoms include persistent cough, hard of hearing, Pain in the chest, shaking or trembling, and change in the sense of smell.
