Coronavirus India Update: A decline in Covid-19 cases noticed recently, risk of Covid-19 3rd wave continues

Coronavirus India Update:

The country has been reporting more than 40,000 Covid-19 cases each day, thereby increasing the risk of the 3rd wave of coronavirus pandemic. According to the information given by the Union Health Ministry today, 30,941 new Covid-19 cases came across the country in the past 24 hours and 350 infected people died while 36,275 people have recovered from the infection. 

At present, the number of infected people undergoing coronavirus treatment in the country is 3,70,640. The coronavirus recovery rate in India has reached 97.53%.

The Covid-19 situation in Kerala:

It must be noted that most of the Covid-19 cases are being reported from Kerala, due to which CM Pinarayi Vijayan has imposed a night curfew in the state from 10 PM to 6 AM, and has also stated that Kerala is prepared for the expected third wave of Covid-19 pandemic. 

While people traveling from Kerala will have to be under a mandatory 7 days government quarantine, and after the quarantine, if a person tests negative, then only they’ll be allowed to travel further. 

Corona curfew in Uttrakhand has been extended until 7th September even after the downfall in the Coronavirus cases. Covid-19 restrictions in West Bengal have also been extended until 15th September, while precautions in Uttar Pradesh also intensifies.
